The People of the Amazon Rainforest
There are hundreds of local indigenous tribes in the Amazon. The local tribes in all of South America have disappeared due to colonization process, disease, alcohol, forced labor, and war. There are still over 200 local tribes in the Amazon. They talk over 180 different languages and they each have their own cultural heritage.
